Hiking Stick Spiral Design Shou Sugi Ban and Tung oil

This hiking stick has a spiral design and following inspiration from the Shou Sugi Ban technique, the wood has been charred in fire, and then sanded, to attain a smooth texture. The finish is Tung Oil which gives a nice flat or low sheen finish. Tung oil can wear away with time and use and can be reapplied as needed. A Tung Oil finish preserves the wood while allowing a more natural look and feel. The hiking stick features measure markings, from the bottom up for the first two feet of length, there is a small line every foot and a small dot every three inches. There is also a lanyard hole at the top of the hiking stick. - Length 48" - Diameter 1 3/8"
