Organic Goldenrod

Botanical Name: Solidago virgaurea Common Names: European Goldenrod, Woundwort. Aaron's Rod, Early Goldenrod Folk Name: ''Woundwort''  Magical Folk Uses:  Enhances psychic abilities and works involving scrying, divination, and prophecy. Known to draw in love, prosperity and good luck   Medicinal Folk Uses:  Traditionally used to treat skin wounds; as mouth rinse to treat inflammation of the mouth and throat. Goldenrod has also been used to treat tuberculosis, diabetes, enlargement of the liver, gout, hemorrhoids, internal bleeding, asthma, and arthritis. It is also used to reduce pain and swelling (inflammation), as a diuretic to increase urine flow, and to stop muscle spasms.  Tea is made by steeping 2–3 teaspoons (10–15 grams) of the herb in 1 cup (250 ml) of hot water for ten to fifteen minutes.  Ingredients: Organic Goldenrod These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA.
