This item is a 20 ounce sublimated tumbler with a depiction of a neuron firing. This tumbler does have a seam where the sides come together, as seen in the photos. These tumblers are double-walled metal tumblers. They keep drinks cold for hours. In my tests, they kept ice outside in 94-degree heat for at least 6 hours and ice indoors for at least 10 hours. Tumblers come with a plastic, slide-close lid and straw. If used with hot beverages, you should vent the top (open the little straw slot) so they don't build up pressure. The seal is so tight, steam can cause the lids to pop up. They are not microwave or dishwasher-safe. These tumblers are sublimated so the ink is permanently bonded to the tumbler coating. It's not a sticker or vinyl. I put mine in the dishwasher all the time with no ill effects, but detergent used in dishwashers can be abrasive and scratch and chip coatings (even ceramic coatings).
