Jute String & Rope

Our jute string and rope are a great fiber for macrame or to incorporate earthy texture to your weavings. Jute is a long, coarse, breathable vegetable fiber that is produced from the bark of the white jute plant.  It gives off a slight sheen while providing a high texture visual element, with tiny, grassy bits that add an organic, natural feel to your pieces. Jute fiber is 100% bio-degradable and recyclable. Rolled on recycled cardboard. 4.5 mm string = Approximately 500 ft 9 mm string = Approximately 190 ft 5 mm rope = Approximately 300 ft   Made in Turkey.
