The Eva Perón

“I am my own woman”  Eva Perón is well known for her independence and strength.  She was a leader in women’s suffrage in Argentina, an emphatic supporter of workers’ rights, and a philanthropist.  Her rise from abject poverty to the First Lady of Argentina serves as an inspiration to many women. The Eva Perón sandal was fun to design as Eva was a big fan of shoes.  The inspiration for the shape of the shoe comes directly from a picture of a shoe Eva actually wore.  The blue was chosen as it is the color of the Argentinian flag, and the jute heels are an homage to a traditional Argentinian way of creating shoes.   How does it fit? The Eva Perón runs small.  We recommend sizing up at least 1/2 size, a full size if you have wider feet.
