Teec Nos Pos Navajo Rug: Helene Nez : Churro 195 : 45" x 84" (3'9" x 7')

Helene Nez is an extremely talented weaver.  She has won many awards for her outstanding skill and eye for detail.  This rug was on the loom for 9 months, from Gail and Steve's private collection, never offered for sale before. In this piece of art she created a Teec Nos Pos. Helene has been a meticulous weaver from the very start of her weaving career.  Woven using hand-dyed Navajo Churro wool.  Helene's talent shows through! It is an early one from our exclusive Churro Collection.  It was started in July 1998 and completed April 1999.   This weaving is featured in our "Master Weavings of the Navajo Churro Collection" Exhibit at Nizhoni Ranch Gallery, March 2019 and the "Master Weavings of the Navajo Churro Collection" catalog, page 22.
