MerCruiser 20' 8-Pin Ammeter 1970's-80 Wire Wiring Harness Dash Plug Gauges

Item Details Measures around 20' / 20FT / 20 Feet 8-Pins (3 Big pins / 5 Small pins) 8-Wires (7 Going into the Dash-side plug -Ammeter wire is cut short- only 6" or so coming from the engine-side cannon plug) This is one of the less common that had the 3rd large Pin / orange wire for an ammeter. This was really only found on the mid-1970's wiring harnesses as they more or less got rid of this feature in future wiring harnesses as it was a fire hazard. Most of the ammeter plugs from this time period have a 9th pin in the middle (see my other listings for photos) but this one does not unfortunately. General Application / Compatibility This could be used with MerCruiser engine applications Roughly 1973-Early 80's as it has the orange wire for the ammeter and wasn't necessary in later configurations.
