(Roughly 1999 & UP) This is for engines with a 1-piece rear main seal....and using the narrow rod journals (1999 & UP). MerCruiser Part Number 423-810842 / 423-810842T GM part # 93436083. DOES NOT REPLACE 140966 (as the rod journal sizes are allegedly different compared to the 140966) Just make sure yours has the same stamped part number of 93436083 Engine turned over by hand freely before being removed (Cracked Block from freezing) If you are unsure if this will work for you, just ask.
