Item Details Compatible with Mercruiser 120hp/140hp Engines, somewhere between 1969-mid 1972 (It's a small window of serial numbers this part covers so just check your serial number to determine ultimate compatibility and I have included this information) Your engine should have a metal take on the rear starboard side near the flywheel housing with this serial number This is the odd MerCruiser plug that they only used from roughly 1969-mid 1972 (See Pictures) MerCruiser Part number 55755 (Stamped) / 84-96288A1 - External Engine Wiring Harness (Without External Voltage Regulator-There was a different harness for those engines with the voltage regulator) Or check your engine serial number to confirm fitment: 120hp 2.5L: S/N 2786857-3377340 140hp 3.0L: S/N 2816417-3332137 Overall good condition.
