Item Details For use with Stringer 800 Series sterndrives 1982-1985 (this is a fully mechanical shift model) in 1984-1985 Paint colors. Compatible with V6 & V8 800 series gearcases paired with 3.8L 170hp, 4.3L 175hp, 5.0L 305, 5.7L 350 260hp No leaks or bad seals found after pressure testing. Original Paint This will be drained of gear oil before shipping and will need to be refilled before use. Freshwater used part. Shift Cable Part #982802 Good condition For use with all Stringer 400 / 800 (4cyl / V6 / V8 2.5L 120hp, 3.0L 140hp, 3.8L, 4.3L, 5.0L 305, 5.7L 350  outdrives 1982-1986 Includes Shift cable assembly 982802 (The same as 982563) and shifter housing 910460 (Equivalent to 982789) already attached, ready to bolt on.
