Teutonic Knight - Heavy Blend Zip Hoodie
The Order of Brothers of the German House of Saint Mary in Jerusalem, or the Teutonic Knights, were a crusading order of knights founded in 1190 to aid German pilgrims traveling through the Levant. When the Crusader States fell, they moved north and became the spearhead for the Northern Crusades. The Order would successfully take enough territory in the Baltics to establish itself as a regional power and would act as a buffer state for Christendom until their defeat at the Battle of Grunwald in 1410. Though their power was minimized, the Teutonic Knights still held considerable territory and would wield influence and power well into the 19th century. • 50% cotton, 50% polyester • Fabric weight: 8 oz/yd² (271 g/m²) • Yarn diameter: 20 singles • Soft fleece fabric inside and outside • Air-jet spun yarn for reduced piling • Regular fit • Metal zipper • Front pouch pockets • Unlined hood with color-matched drawcord • Double-needle stitching at shoulders, armholes, neck, waistband, and cuf
