Erica Synths Zen Delay The Zen Delay, made by Erica Synths in collaboration with Ninja Tune is a bpm-synced stereo delay line with multi-mode filter and tube drive, great for dub-style delay lines. The delay features five delay modes tape, tape ping pong, digital ping pong, digital, and vintage modes. You also have the ability to turn the delay effect off to use the filter on its own. The filter is a multi-mode stereo 24dB filter with lowpass, bandpass, and highpass modes. Delay time can be set via the delay time knob, via tap tempo, or MIDI sync. Pushing the tap button for two seconds enters MIDI sync mode. When synced to a MIDI clock, the time knob sets the division of multiplication of the MIDI clock. The tube overdrive allows for shaping and destruction of the input sound, but includes a limiter so the overall volume doesn't increase as the overdrive is increased. In addition to the overdrive, both the delay feedback and filter resonance can self-oscillate at high settings, adding
