Ryan truly stepped into his dominance as a player while in Anaheim, leading the league in strikeouts seven times and striking out 383 batters in 1973, which is still the single-season record in the modern era. Another MLB all-time career record held by Ryan is his seven no-hitters, four of which he threw while repping jersey number 30 with the Angels. The ornate shoe charm replicates the infamous postgame photograph taken of Ryan in 1975 following his fourth and final no-no in California.
