Geophagus Red Head Tapajos are a peaceful cichlid that has a green and yellow color along its body. As it matures, it will develop a red coloration on its head. It is one of the smaller Geophagus species that may be kept with other South American community fish such as Tetras, Angelfish, and Corydoras. Geophagus are also known as “earth-eaters” and will require a sand substrate.
