The Pea Puffer or also known as the Indian Dwarf Puffer, is a very unique and popular nano fish. Under the right conditions, the Pea Puffer may be kept in community aquariums however, they may occasionally get territorial.  The Pea Puffer is a slow swimming fish and does best in aquariums with low flow. Rasboras, Danios, and Tetras would make ideal tank mates since they would be quick to avoid the puffer and coexist. Fish with long fins and shrimp are best kept separate.  Scientific Name: Carinotetradon travancoricus  Max Size: 1” pH: 6.0-7.3 Temperature: 70-82° Minimum Tank Size: 10 gallons Temperament: Semi Aggressive  Diet: Frozen and live worms, snails Compatibility: Tetras, Rasboras, Danios
