Staurogyne Repens - Tissue Culture

Staurogyne Repens is commonly used foreground plant for aquariums. Native to South America, this plant has small leaves that can also be used to create a bush. It can be grown submerged or emersed. Lower light conditions cause the plant to grow taller whereas higher light causes the plant to grow lower.  To remove the tissue culture gel, soak the gel or gently rub it off with your fingers.
