NORA Hunter/EDC #1004 - Brother Bear

This knife, #1004, is our general hunter/EDC design which is a great all around multi-use knife and will work well in a variety of situations.   Each of our knives is numbered and unique. The handle on this one is a mix of materials, including pearled white shokwood accented with a black G10 liner. Shokwood is a hybrid mix of live edge wood and urethane based resins.  This particular handle has big leaf maple burl wood and a beautiful blend of shimmering white. The handle has a black G10 liner & the wood has been stabilized for durability.   Wood stabilization is an added feature that we offer with our knives. Wood that is stabilized has been injected with a clear acrylic resin under a vacuum process. Stabilization helps to minimize, if not eliminate, any cracking, warping, shrinkage and/or expanding of the material. Stabilized wood will not absorb water and is generally impervious to oils.
