The Fellowes Fortishred 3850C Cross-Cut Shredder is a robust shredder made for use in departments. It features the SilentShred™ technology, which provides ultra-quiet performance in shared workspaces. The Sheet Capacity Sensor helps to avoid paper jams by showing the sheet capacity levels during shredding. The shredder has an electronically controlled Safety Shield which stops the machine when opened. The shredder will turn off automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity, saving energy. Other key features include a broad 15-3/4" paper entry and a continuous-duty motor for non-stop shredding. It can shred 22-24 sheets per pass into cross-cut particles of 5/32" x 1-9/16" (Security Level P-4). The shredder requires a dedicated 15 amp outlet for optimal performance and has a 44-gallon bin capacity. It is suitable for use by 6-10 users.
