Adolescent Literacy in the Content Areas

This three credit online course examines the delivery of the syllabus, effective online lectures, readings and assignments  on web pages; discussions and presentations through online message boards, e-mail and chat; interactive tutorials and labs; and on-line assessments.  Participants determine what aspects of their curriculum are best suited to presentation online, create new approaches to reading in the classroom and create active independent learning experiences for students that encourage the growth of literacy in the classroom environment. This course is suitable for all content and grade levels. Location: Online Framingham State University - 3 graduate credits
