Using Technology to Enhance Mathematics Instruction

Focuses on how technology can be used as a tool to support student and teacher inquiry, problem solving, and higher order thinking skills in mathematics. Using the design principles and strategies of the Good Models for Teaching with Technology (GMOTT) this course guides participants through the design of curriculum units that can be used in their classroom., school, or district. Creating the unit will strengthen the teachers' understanding of how to design, use, and promote effective models of technology enhanced mathematics instruction.
