Hose bushing adapts to size variants between the bronze housing and stern tube O.D. allowing a secure fit of each end of the log hose (as needed). *Due to the many stern tube O.D. sizes and lack of pre-made reducers available, certain sizes are cut pieces of exhaust hose to achieve the proper reduction.*
