Norwesco 1200 Gallon Below-Ground Cistern Light-weight for easy transport and installation. Our below-ground polyethylene cistern's molded, ribbed, one-piece design gives the light-weight tank added strength, and contributes to the ease of transport and install. These cisterns are made of 100% virgin resin which meets FDA specifications. Manhole extensions and lid/riser combinations are available to bring access to ground level. All Norwesco cistern tanks are manufactured by means of the rotational molding process, which produces a one-piece, seamless, watertight tank. Polyethylene is unaffected by soil chemicals so Norwesco the tanks will not rust or corrode and require no additional coatings as other tanks do.
