Spearmint
Easy to grow and quite ubiquitous across the Northern Hemisphere, Spearmint seeds can sometimes be a chore to find. Highly aromatic, Spearmint is a common flavoring agent in everything from teas to toothpaste, but it also offers lush, low growing foliage with lilac purple flowers that are a joy to have in any garden setting. Use to flavor salad mix, main dishes, ice cream, and drinks. Variety not stated since mint does not grow exactly true-to-type from seed. Growing Tips: Sow seeds outdoors when soil is warm and temperature does not drop below 65°F. Can also be started indoors 4-6 weeks before planting out. Pinch back flower stalks as they appear to keep plants from bolting. Prefers rich well-drained soil. Certified Organic. 100 seeds per packet.
