The Art Story Some days in the studio start with play - I had a liquid black water color that just begged to be played with. I painted so many shapes, enjoying the rich blending and running of the color. It reflects life which is never black and white, but filled with nuance in the grey areas. These watery textures are then contrasted and accented with gold or silver in this series, drawing out the beauty of the variance between black and white.
