Tide Pool

Pools of water surrounded by rocks stand still like mirrors.  The shallow pools hold secrets.  Red, orange, and purple starfish move slowly from corner to corner throughout the day.  Barnacles and muscles cling to the walls of the pools as the waves splash and crash against the rocks. Sea Anemones dance with the swish and swirl of the water.  Churning water creates bubbles that move like glitter in a snow globe.  Seagulls hop about the pools hunting for something to eat. As the day sun moves higher in the sky, the tide rolls in and covers the tiny world with water, concealing it until the next low tide.
