Embark on a distillation process, arriving at your own modern art that joyfully expresses the basics of subject and scene. You’ll relax into creating by beginning in a small format, working from a photo or realistic source image. Then you’ll loosen your grip on realism by creating iteratively, playing with composition, shapes, few details and color. Finally, going bigger, you’ll move further into an exploration of essence.
