Rustic Primitive Pumpkin Sign on reclaimed pallet wood

A primitive sign made from pallet wood with a vintage Pumpkin advertisement. I used reclaimed pallet wood and sanded it using a lower grit in order to preserve the flaws of the wood. The sign was painted a background color, and then a vinyl stencil was placed over and painted black. I sanded the final layer to create a look that is rough and rustic looking. The sign can be hung using the attached D ring hook, or simply left propped up on a shelf, fireplace or looks great in an entryway. Measurements: 5.5 inches wide by 14.125 inches tall. Friendly reminder on pallet wood art: I use only heat treated pallet wood which ensures the safety and cleanliness of the wood. I process every piece before I make my signs and inspect thoroughly. Many pieces of reclaimed pallet will have texture, which may include dents, rough rough areas. I do sand in order to smooth out edges and avoid splintering of the wood.
