DOMtheDESTROYER & Dettermeine - The Bagel Shoppe

Not For The Weak is proud to introduce the fourth collaborative full-length cassette release from Ocean View Norfolk, VA’s DOMtheDESTROYER & Dettermeine. This duo brings us a sound heavily influenced from the best of the late-80s and early-90s Hip-Hop with clever lyrical content based around a fictional “front” at a Bagel Shoppe. Hardcore/Punk and Hip-Hop have always mirrored each other and when these two came to record the vocals here at the NFTW studio, I was instantly reminded of that. The vocals on all 10 tracks were one take and the entire session lasted less than hour. Needless to say, we were sold instantly.
