Carex phyllocephala 'Sparkler'

Sparkler Carex. With its palm-like, white striped leaves, which are whorled at the end of an 8-12" stalk, this Carex makes a dramatic accent in the garden. It grows best in filtered sun in well drained but moist soil. This is a true specimen plant in the perennial shade garden which adds wonderful textural contrast with foliage perennials such as Hostas and Heucheras.. Zones 7-9
