Veronicastrum virginicum 'Lavender Towers'

Lavender Towers Veronicastrum. This is a selection of one of our finest native perennials. It produces elegant unbranched stems of 4-5' which terminate in long upright pale lavender-purple spires which tower over its whorled leaves. Prefers moist, well-drained soils in full to partial sun. Tolerant of a variety of soils. Deadhead to prolong blooming season. Best used in the back of a perennial border, in meadow or naturalized gardens. This perennial is easily grown and will more than reward the gardener who plants it. Zones 4-8
