Stair Tread Cover DESCRIPTION Stair Tread Covers and Nosings Fiberglass Stair Tread Covers and Nosings provide a convenient and dependable way to provide a slip-resistant footing for existing stairs that are still structurally sound.  They can be installed over concrete, wood, or metal steps.  A top grit surface provides a secure footing for maximum safety.  A standard nosing and a highly visible safety yellow make them extremely safe. Manufactured with reinforced woven glass mat for impact resistance and durability.  Treads covers come in 8″, 10″, and 12″ depths.  Standard thickness is 1/8″ thick.  Stair tread covers perform well in most corrosive environments, including continuous moisture, salt, and constant cleaning. Common uses Typical uses would be universities, motels, aquatic and amusement parks, commercial office parks.  Any place where outdoor stairs are present.  They could also be used in water treatment facilities, oil and gas operations, food and beverage industry.
