Thursday:  May 18 |  7pm-8:45pm Myriad factors influence every bottle of wine.  The dirt, the weather, even the moon can have an influence.  But without people, there would be no wine.  Sadly, the stuff doesn't make itself, making even the most non-interventionist winemaker an interloper of the highest order. Point being, wine is a product of grapes (and the environs in which they were grown), but also humans.  As for the latter, some just do it better than others.  There are those who seem to have a magic touch, no matter the vintage, no matter the grape.  And by magic touch, I don't mean every wine is perfect, rather that they have a style which consistently shines through in every bottle they produce.  Theirs are the wines we will taste in this class.   The upside here is adding names to the wine rolodex in your head which, when encountered in a store or restaurant, you can feel confident selecting.  We'll taste whites and reds, most of which will fall in the medium-bodied camp, but
