The modern Letterman jacket originated in the 1930s, the original form - - which was a cardigan - - became a thing at Harvard in the late 1800s. This particular jacket is from Grand Prairie High School, in the 50’s. Since it was for a “B-Team” player, it was made without leather sleeves, using wool instead.
