New! 8" Soil Probe

The 8" Soil Probe is our smallest one-piece probe, measuring 8" long, including tip. This model is an ideal soil sample probe for gardens and agricultural soil testers and researchers. It's the perfect balance between affordability, professional quality, and portability. It's so small you can carry it in your back pocket. The 5" handle is welded on to the soil tube so there are no parts to remove, making it easy to carry. As a single unit it's incredibly durable, and comes with a replaceable, screw-on Regular Soil Tip. Other screw-on tips are available for different types of soil. Takes a core sample approximately 6" long by 3/4" in width (outer diameter of the probe is 15/16"). The tube is designed to eliminate friction in the tube after cutting the sample. It has a non-clogging design with a cut-out in the front to allow for easy soil removal, visual soil profile inspection, and cleaning.
