Some years ago, along the banks of the Kinnickinnic River in Wisconsin, a young couple settled to build a life in the country.  Near the cascading falls they worked their humble farmstead, sustaining themselves just barely.  The sweet wife found herself pregnant, just as they signed a contract to supply a dairy company from over the Minnesota border with their fresh milk.  Their excitement was palpable, and to honor their new-found hope, they named their little girl Minneapolis.  Minneapolis was an inspired child, whose vision captured and enraptured her parents and everyone she met.  One morning, she watched a truck roll in to haul out the fresh milk.  The tracks left by its heavy tires left a distinctive pattern in the snow, which Minneapolis rendered on her drawing board.
