From San Diego County. A very thick, rich, medium dark honey with a subtle earthy flavor. Terrific in baking and with breakfast foods. A must with a cheese/fruit/nut plate. Pairs especially well with sharp and aged cheeses like gouda and manchego, also with blue and alpine cheeses such as gruyere and comte. Don’t forget a crisp white wine.
