First Serve tee

This tee is our second tennis-inspired message that carries more than one interpretation. For those that play the sport, “first serve” is announced before the server starts every point in a game. However, when looking at it through the Christian lens, “first serve” was a principle that Jesus not only abided by, but desired for those that would follow him - to imitate. The elements on the back of the shirt are just a few of the many ways Jesus first served us. ocean wave: He calmed the storm clock: He offered His time to listen and to speak to those that were neglected and/or ostracized by the rest of the world washing of the feet: He washed the disciples’ feet To be like Christ is not to ask the world to serve us, but to ask how to serve the world.
