Not only simple and stylish, but a good reminder to children that Brazilian jiu jitsu is not just about defeating bullies, winning tournaments, and playing 3D chess, but that it also offers mind/body benefits that they can take into adulthood. Front: Octavio was working with a designer (a student he took from day 1 until almost-black) on a logo before he passed. Sadly, it was never finalized, but this is one of the early prototypes of the design he had in mind. Reflecting the colors of all belts was important to Octavio, as were his students. Back: This design was lovingly created by a long-time student of Octavio's.
