SAB Tutu Gold Beige [Ode on Tutu]

The Symbol of Balanchine, <SAB Tutu> This tutu is inspired by the powder-puff tutus worn by students at the School of American Ballet (SAB). We have reimagined it into a rehearsal tutu, with our unique style. <SAB tutu aka Balanchine Tutu> All four tulle layers are intricately crafted in varying lengths for a bustling, costume-like appearance. The innermost layer is slightly stiffened to maintain its puffiness. This tutu is lighter than the standard rehearsal tutu, but its volume is comparable. The bodice of it features the same fabric used in the Daphne leotard in Gold Beige. Made with spandex, it can be easily worn as a pull-on skirt. As shown in the pictures above, SAB students often wear it on their hips for a cute and comfortable look. It is a vintage-inspired piece, reminiscent of Balanchine's most magnificent work, 'Diamonds'.
