The Assault Pack concept is meant to augment your Fighting Load Carrier, with some sustainment and ancillary equipment.  Extra water, ammo, a couple MREs.  In the civilian context, this is a BOB, or Bug Out Bag/Get Home Bag.   Get a Grade 1 if you like it fresh, get a Grade 2 if you don't care that it's a little dirty and used.   Main Compartment: Approximately 17″H x 14″W x 6.5″D Outer Cargo Pocket: Approximately 12″H x 11″W x 3.5″D Approximate Size: 20″ x 12″ x 7″ Approximately 1850 Cubic Inches of Space Carrying Weight: 4lbs No frame GENUINE U.S. MILITARY ISSUE THIS IS A DAY PACK AND NOTHING ELSE, I do not recommend attempting to use this as a stand alone pack for 3 days you’re not going to have a good time.  Also not ideal for weighted and extended rucks.  Get a framed pack for that.
