The Marines were spoiled in the mid to late GWOT era. They got a ton of great gear after being the red-headed stepchild and ignored for so long. The FILBE and FROG gear in general just kicks ass. The FILBE ruck can haul some gear. But with anything, the plastic frames can crack and break over time, especially if dry-rotted from being left in the sun. If you run a FILBE, grab a spare frame in case yours goes down. Cheap insurance.
