1920s Chinese Densely Embroidered Peacock Floral Silk Coat

Made for the western market this 1920s silk on silk densely embroidered coat features off white embroidery of daisies, blossoms, peacocks and other birds. Has one single button and loop closure on the exterior and a perfect slightly boxy, comfy fit. This came from an old estate in the hills of Marin, Ca. Condition: Nearly pristine for age, a few faint spots as shown, you can see some of the hand stitching on the armhole seams.
