Italian Black (Becnel's)

This is a Bordeaux fig that is on the late side, but is excellent. It is extremely complex and you can eat a lot of them without getting sick of them. Smooth black skin (with bloom sometimes), strawberry flesh. Very few splitting issues. I have had mixed success with this variety in the ground in the north east. This year it had very little dieback, but my first mother tree died after one year. Price is for 1 cutting.
