The Tipsy Elf Kringle

The Holiday rush puts a lot of pressure on everyone, especially those trying to get gifts just right. Whether it's the long hours or the aches and pains of working with your hands, there might be only one profession busier than a baker and that is a holiday elf. So, when an elf friend of ours, we'll call him Bailey, gets into the long December days, he adds a little special syrup into his drinks. It's a trick he learned from his buddy in the mail room. Well, his recipe takes a little cocoa, a touch of Irish whisky, a little cream and works as a sure-fire holiday pick me up. We borrowed it and made it into a filling for our Kringle, which we then finish with creamy frosting and decorated in traditional elf colors. Cheers to you Bailey!
