
Espresso Infused Balsamic Vinegar
Our Espresso Balsamic Vinegar is crafted from 80% Trebbiano and 20% Lambrusco grapes, aged 18 years in wood barrels. This meticulous system sees the vinegar move to progressively smaller wood barrels over its many years of aging. Made in Modena, Italy, under the strict regulation of the Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale, this dark balsamic vinegar is lusciously rich and sweet, with the depth of flavor that only comes from a true balsamic vinegar. The infused coffee bean flavors give it smooth chocolaty notes up front, with a warm espresso finish. Espresso is a very unique flavor, and can be wonderful to enjoy all on it's own, or with bread and olive oil. It can also be a great addition to salads or veggie dishes, giving them a very satisfying complexity with its savory flavors. Another favorite is as a meat marinade for steaks, or reducing it on a low flame to make a dessert glaze. Enjoy it on popcorn or in an espresso martini for a truly unique and special treat.
