Its graphic edge was first showcased at the Designers’ Spring Exhibition in 1957, and later received the Grand Prix at the Triennale in Milan. Choose from a variety of customizable options, including wood type and upholstery. Wooden legs are angled smoothly outwards in this design, mimicking the steel legs of Jacobsen’s other plywood chairs. This is one of the few Arne Jacobsen chair designs with wooden legs. Please note, this version with wooden legs is not stackable. Dimensions 32.7" H x 19.7" W x 20.1" D Care and Maintenance GENERAL INFORMATION: Fritz Hansen uses a variety of wood species, mainly oak, maple, beech, cherry, teak and ash, each with their own natural characteristics in terms of color, grain and hardness. Our wood is sourced responsibly in the highest quality, without defects including knots, sap or cracks.Veneer is a thin layer of hardwood bonded to a surface concealed underneath. It displays the beautiful and natural veining of the wood. A natural material, the colour and grain may vary from one furniture piece to another, although we take care to craft with veneer that is similar in appearance. CARE & MAINTENANCE: As the wood is untreated, it may be affected by grease and colorants. For this reason, we recommend saturating the wood with soap or a suitable furniture oil to make it more resistant. If you wish to use soap or oil, use a suitable product. Be aware that the wood will change colour when applying soap or oil. CLEANING & STAIN REMOVAL: The wood comes with no finish. If you choose not to treat it with soap or oil, use a suitable cleaning agent for wood. CAUTION: Never use abrasive cleaners including steel wool and polish.
