Coquito Black Tea Blend

Tea Notes: Spiced / Coconut Caffeinated Tea Blend   For the December OGA Tea Guild member blend, we traveled to Puerto Rico with a tea based on Coquito. Coquito is a traditional Puerto Rican coconut based alcoholic beverage you could consider perhaps an adult tropical version of the classic eggnog. The tea blend will be a black tea base with coconut in a few different forms, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and vanilla bean. Strongly encouraged to be drunk with milk and some added sweetener or make yourself a little boozy tea if you’re so inclined and splash in some rum.   The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.   Ingredients: Black tea, coconut (including toasted coconut w/ sugar), cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, vanilla bean The tea bag contains around 1.5 ounces of loose leaf tea, the jar contains 3.5-4 ounces of loose leaf tea. - - - Disclaimer: The statements presented on this site have not been evaluate
