Chicago Flag

I could tell you all about the great design of the Chicago flag. About how each star means something, how each of the six points of each star mean something, and how the bars mean something. But I won’t. (Read about it here.) Instead, I'll just tell you I had a college roommate from Illinois and when I went to his wedding I visited the city for the first time. And I loved it. And I just about moved there after grad school. But Boston called at my heart even more. One night when I was having drinks with a Boston firefighter, and he had a tattoo of the Chicago flag.
