Grupo Dipilto
Generational Roots, Community ImpactGrupo Dipilto is a collaboration between three family-run farms in the highlands of Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua, each operated by producers with a deep commitment to sustainable farming and community stewardship. Eudoro Guillén, Emilio López, and Misael Sauceda—ranging from first to second-generation coffee growers—manage their farms alongside their families, hiring local workers from nearby villages and avoiding harmful agricultural inputs. Misael, for example, relies on vermicompost rather than pesticides, while all three farms prioritize natural water sources and shaded environments. This shared approach to farming reflects a model of mutual care—for the land, for the people who cultivate it, and for the communities that surround them. A Taste of Dipilto’s HighlandsGrown between 1,200 and 1,400 meters above sea level, this coffee benefits from sandy loam soil, cool mountain air, and natural shade from inga and musaceae trees.
