Gatco Extra Coarse Sharpening Hone (model 15002) The coarsest grit ceramic hone available from Gatco. This 80 grit will allow you to restore your damaged and extremely dull edges. A great addition if you will be doing heavier repair work. This hone will work slower than diamond hones, but will allow you to produce a finer polish more easily. Like all Gatco handles it has their patent pending adjustable sliding guide rod and finger protection rails. Makes a great addition to your kit if you are doing a lot of repair work to restore knives or if your friends and family are hard on theirs (read: cutting on ceramic tile or stone). This stone is only included in the Professional Knife Sharpening System Kit - model 10005.
